Saw I missed a call.

Gave me a bell and then promptly disconnected. I reckon they were hoping I’d ring them back, likely at a pretty penny!

Really good customer service, I got a letter about washing machine insurance protection, if I need a new one they offer another option, that’s all. No security questions asked or anything shady, the call wasn’t spam or scam at all.

Loads of people say Very is legit, as I got a letter recently about some insurance I had on my fridge running out. Missed their call but saw the letter they sent. Worth double checking if you’ve had one yourself.

Quite frustrating. They’ve changed their product insurance provider recently, and I’ve been getting letters about it.

Called by 08000902428 supposedly from Very[###]. The guy said he sent a letter 3 weeks back and wanted to discuss it. When I asked questions, he got annoyed and said multiple numbers might be used to call. Definitely didn’t want to answer anything. Felt dodgy, so I rang Very group directly and they said no one calls from that number. Seems like a scam to me.

Littlewoods rang me about renewing my service guarantee as my current one is about to expire. Definitely not a scam.

Did Littlewoods warranty cover any of this? Very confusing to understand.

Some bloke rang me sayin he was from Very, wanted to check my security info. I told him no way, if he’s from them, he’d have all that already. Then he offers to send a letter with their contact number to put me at ease. I said fine, then just ended the call.

Got a ring from Very. It was genuine as I rang up Very’s Identity Theft team later, and both they and the Customer Service manager confirmed the call and the details noted. Still, the person who called seemed a bit green and unsure, which made me a bit wary. They just wanted to follow up to let me know a service they offer (a warranty on something I bought) was running out this month and if I wanted to renew it with a special deal they had.

I've been getting calls almost twice a day for about a week now, all at different times. Over the last year I've stopped picking up if I don't know the number. These cold calls and robotic silent ones are driving me mad from early morning till late evening. Seriously, the government needs to step in and make some proper rules about this!

Just got a call saying they were from Littlewoods. Tried to get me to give personal details to 'verify' something about a letter I was supposed to get. When I refused to share my birthdate, they told me to ring back on 08000923050. But when I asked for the number again, he gave me a totally different one: 08009020951. Seems dodgy to me.

Got a call from someone pretending to be Littlewoods, saying they were following up on a letter they supposedly sent me. I never got any letter and before they’d even talk about it, they wanted my account details. I checked with Littlewoods afterwards and they said it’s definitely a scam.

This time it was a woman claiming to be from Very but the number wasn’t the same as what’s on their site. I’ve gone ahead and blocked it now.

Someone called me saying they were from Very about a letter, but kept moaning about the phone line being bad. When I asked them to prove they really worked for Very, they just said the connection was rubbish and they’d ring me back. I looked up the number on here and decided to block it.

Someone said they were from Littlewoods and asked for my last payment info for some "security check". I asked them what the call was about before sharing anything, but they just said they couldn’t tell me without me passing the security stuff first. Felt a bit dodgy if you ask me.

Got a call from someone saying they were from Very, but they kept asking my husband about his credit limit and when he last paid. Not sure if it's legit to share that sort of info, never been asked that before. Felt a bit suspicious to me.
