When I picked up the call, it was just dead air on the other end.

I suspect this could be a dodgy number masquerading as O2's fraud team.

Got a couple of calls from an Indian bloke who kept saying "hey Mam". We just ended the call both times - sounds like the same old scam to me.

Got a call from some bloke from India on my work phone. I said it’s a work line and he just hung up straight away. Then like a couple hours later he rings again. This time I decided to humour him. He said he was from 02 and that I’d won some sort of unlimited iPhone deal. Total rubbish if you ask me. I’ve reported the number to 02 already.

Got a call from some bloke claiming he could sort me out with an iPhone 11, unlimited calls and data, all for just £30. I wasn't having any of it and ended up hanging up. He rang back a couple more times, but I just ignored it - looks like a total con to me.

They actually called me up and straight away wanted my bank info. Absolutely not handing that over!

I wasn’t expecting any calls, so I just ignored it. Seeing what other people have said, I’m pretty relieved I didn’t pick up!

SCAM ALERT - Never share any codes that pop up on your phone like “to verify your account or identity” if someone asks for it. They’re just trying to hack into your personal stuff. Stay careful!

The person spoke with an Indian accent, but the moment I brought up the word 'scam', they just cut the call straight away.

Got a call from some bloke claiming to sell an iPhone 11, said it was linked to O2, but I work at Telefonica so I knew it was dodgy. Told him to piss off and never call me again. Total scam, be careful!

Claimed to be with the O2 sales team. Mentioned Tesco, so I just ended the call.

Got a call from someone saying they were with O2, offering me an upgrade. He was mumbling so much that I couldn’t make out half of what he was saying - super frustrating. I told him if I was interested in upgrading, I’d ring them myself, no need for them to ring me. After that, I just ended the call.

Got a call from someone with a thick Indian accent, sounded like he was just reading off a script. Claimed he was from O2, which is my provider, and said I could get an upgrade. Thing is, I’m not due one at all. I asked him to say it again, and sure enough, he just repeated the same script. Ended the call there.

Absolute scam! Someone said they were from O2 and tried to sell me a phone upgrade. They asked for my card info straight away - dodgy as hell!

Got a call from a guy with a strong Indian accent, sounded like he was calling from overseas. Said he was with Global Telecommunications or something like that. When I asked where they got my number from (even tho I’ve got a block on cold callers), he wouldn’t say. I then asked where their office is, and he claimed they’re all connected and based in the UK. Kept going on about Global Communications and tried to distract me by mentioning some free iPhone giveaway, but never actually answered my questions properly. When I pushed him further, he just hung up. Seemed super suspicious to me.

Somebody rang, said they were from O2 and offered me a phone upgrade. Total scammer, watch out!

Somebody called me trying to sell cleaning gear, but I said no thanks as the prices seemed way too high. Maybe if they were more affordable, I'd consider getting them.

Got a call from a bloke named Ali, said he was from some IT firm. I told him straight away I’m not having any of it today if he’s trying to pull a fast one, and hung up. Why on earth would a proper IT company just ring me out of the blue anyway? Seems pretty dodgy to me.
