Watch out, this number is a total scam! If you get a call from it, make sure you report it. Just search for 'action fraud' and go to the 'police.uk' website - they explain exactly how to report these dodgy numbers. Sadly, you can’t add reports straight to the police fraud database anymore, but the site still shows you the right way to complain about these scam calls.

So, I had this call with some bloke called Guy Stevens who works there, right? When I told him I didn’t want to go ahead with the policy, he just started shouting all sorts of racist stuff at me, even dropped the P word, then just slammed the phone down. I did a bit of digging online and it looks like he might be based in Newhaven or something. Proper nasty behaviour.

Those green remarks down there are clearly from the SCAMMER themselves. I mean, who’d bother praising some company on a platform meant for exposing dodgy phone calls? They must reckon we’re all daft or something. Steer clear, folks.

A woman approached me, inquiring if I was interested in purchasing an extended warranty since my current one was likely no longer valid. Nevertheless, she was quite courteous and assured me that it was perfectly alright! :)

I got a call from a 020 number and when I called back, it connected me to an 0800 line. They told me my warranty might’ve run out and asked if I wanted to get cover with them. I wasn’t fully convinced at first so said I’d mull it over. But after looking at Trustpilot and seeing some decent reviews and the price seemed fair, I decided to give it a go. The feedback on the company looked solid, so why not?

I've been using their services for quite some time now and can't say I've had any issues. I really don't get why some folks get riled up over a simple phone call. Honestly, have a gander at their Trustpilot reviews! Yet, it seems that many are quick to dismiss Trustpilot as a bit dodgy too.

This firm has swindled my 81-year-old mother, who suffers from dementia. They managed to deduct £75 from her account for supposed insurance on her kitchen appliances, which frankly aren’t even valued at that amount. We’ve since cancelled the direct debit they established for £75 a month. However, they keep pestering her, sending letters claiming it was all a misunderstanding and that no funds were taken, when in reality they have indeed withdrawn money!

I received a rather bothersome call from a chap who seemed full of himself, to be honest. I had zero interest in what he had to say, but he just wouldn't let up. Quite off-putting, really.
6 years
Whenever I receive these pesky calls, I like to keep them on the line for a good 15 to 20 minutes. I’ll ask how much it’s going to cost and then claim I need to fetch my card, which gives me a good few minutes to fill. As I'm about to read out a completely fabricated card number, I play a ringtone from my phone and pretend it’s my GP calling about my test results. They usually say it's no problem to hold while I handle that. Another few minutes pass as I feign a conversation. Then, I’ll proceed to share more fictional card details, only for them to tell me it didn’t go through, conveniently blaming my imaginary wife for some fictitious overspending. I mention that I’ll have to fetch my Barclaycard from downstairs, dragging it out even longer. Then, I read out yet another made-up number. When that also fails, I conclude with a polite farewell, expressing my gratitude for their time. All in all, I've managed to waste a solid 15 minutes of their day.

I've come to realise that this is nothing but a con. Avoid sharing your payment information at all costs! They rely on aggressive cold calling and high-pressure sales techniques. It seems they’re hitting up each customer for a whopping 75 times 3 - utterly outrageous! They present themselves as a washer repair firm and warranty service, but trust me, it’s all just a ruse! Absolute fraud, I tell you!

Honestly, these scammers seem to go after older folks, especially those who live alone and are listed on the electoral register. They try to convince them to buy pointless insurance for appliances that are already old. It's really awful how they prey on vulnerable elderly people like that! Absolutely disgusting behaviour!

I was duped into buying what I believed was a three-year renewal for my washing machine insurance. They had an unsettling amount of personal information, including my bank card details and home address. After doing some research, I became alarmed and contacted my bank, who promptly cancelled my card. Unfortunately, I had an impending direct debit of £225 set up by these rogues, which I can't stop just yet. However, the bank assured me that once the transaction goes through, they will refund me. Just a word of caution-these folks come across as quite legitimate, even going so far as to provide callback customer service. Stay vigilant!

I've been receiving incessant calls from these individuals and even ended up sharing my account number as well as my sort code. The most they could do is initiate a direct debit without my consent through the bank.

Had an unexpected phone call today. The chap on the other end was quite courteous, even though I hadn’t anticipated the ring. I mentioned that I was already sorted with Domestic and General and wasn’t keen on switching - mostly due to the faff involved in changing providers. He wished me a lovely afternoon before we wrapped up the conversation. Interestingly, this isn’t the number that called me; it’s just the one he provided in case I decide to reconsider.

I received a call earlier today from a lady named Alicia who mentioned that I could insure three of my appliances for just £150 a year. It seemed rather too good to be genuine, so I decided to do a bit of research on Google. Lo and behold, I found out it was indeed a scam.

I received a rather concerning call from a gentleman claiming that my Bosch washing machine's warranty had expired. He went on to pressure me into signing up for a three-year contract. Fortunately, I remembered that I already have a service agreement in place with Domestic and General. It didn't click until he quite aggressively asked for my card details. When I mentioned that he should already have my bank information and refused to divulge my card details, he abruptly hung up. I strongly advise against engaging with this company.

I had a phone call yesterday concerning my washing machine. I was aware that the warranty period was nearing its conclusion and, foolishly, I mistook the call for something legitimate. While I was cautious enough not to disclose my Visa card information, I did share my bank account number. Now I'm feeling quite anxious that I may have fallen victim to a scam!

She went by the name of Ella, and I can't stress enough how dangerous she can be. Now, I find myself in the position of having to cancel my credit card, and it's been weighing heavily on my mind. At 80 years old and relying on a modest pension, it’s particularly upsetting. I sincerely hope that justice finds its way to her and her kind.

I received a call regarding my appliance, and they tried to sell me a three-year warranty. I fear I might have disclosed too much personal information during the conversation. It has got me thoroughly anxious, as I suspect it could be a scam intended to catch folks out. These types of calls appear to be incredibly convincing, making it tricky to discern what’s genuine and what’s not. I just hope others don’t fall into the same trap!

Today, I received a call from a woman named Denise. She seemed quite pleasant, but I found myself somewhat dubious about the purpose of her call. She was discussing the option of purchasing a three-year insurance plan for my washing machine. To be honest, it all felt rather fishy to me.

I found the prices for the engineers to be quite sensible, and what's more, they don’t charge you a penny if the job isn’t done right.

It's strange to see glowing reviews for a number known for dodgy cold calls. Honestly, I'd advise everyone to report every call from this number to 'Action Fraud'. That’s how the authorities get a handle on how widespread this sort of scam is. My rule? Never agree to anything or hand over personal details to cold callers - you’ll just end up getting tricked.

I received a call claiming that the warranty on my washing machine had lapsed and that I could prolong it for an additional three years at £75 per year. They mentioned that I had purchased the machine from John Lewis, yet couldn't provide the manufacturer's name, and they incorrectly identified the account holder as my daughter-in-law. They insisted that if I required a repair before the new warranty took effect, I should ring them at the provided number. When they requested my banking details, I decided to hang up and verify the situation with John Lewis directly. I suspect this might be a scam, although it seems they could be masquerading under the guise of a legitimate company.

Received a call from these guys attempting to con me into extending a policy I don’t even have with them! They were all over the place, using high-pressure sales techniques and insisting that I needed to renew something. The cheek of it! I’ve actually got another two years on my current policy. Clearly, they were trying to bamboozle me into giving them my account details!

Decent prices for repairs, and I really liked the no fix, no fee policy. Feels like a fair deal!

I’ve got a number for repairs, but I can’t seem to make a booking via the website. It’s all done through the phone with customer service reps, unfortunately.

Got a call about insuring my equipment. I told them I already had cover and asked for their price anyway. When I said I planned to stick with my current provider, they ended the call pretty politely.

I received a missed call from an insurance firm. I used to have a policy with Hotpoint, so I’m planning to ring this number back during the day. Fingers crossed, I’ll manage to get through to discuss my coverage!

Received a call earlier today and was given this number. I had a chat with a lovely lass named Ellen who was ever so courteous. However, I’m a bit unsure about whether to go ahead with the plan or not. I figured I'd check out some reviews before making a decision. I’ll certainly be giving them a ring again shortly!

I encountered a bit of a hiccup with my appliance, so I dialled the toll-free number. I spoke with two lovely representatives who helped me arrange for an engineer to come out tomorrow. I'm absolutely chuffed with how swiftly and courteously this company has handled my issue, especially when I think about my experiences with other firms.

Got a call from Alicia and ended up going for the 3 appliance plan that lasts 3 years. It was pretty reasonable, especially since it covers multiple appliances so it’s more cost effective. Just hoping something breaks soon so I can actually try out the service, haha.

I received a call from a lady named Alicia, and I decided to opt for the three-year plan that covers three appliances. It’s a decent deal considering the price for all three gadgets; it turns out to be more economical than just covering one. Now I'm eagerly anticipating the breakdown so I can make the most of their service-should be interesting!

Really nice and polite service, good rates too. I helped my grandma Doris get sorted out about 3 years ago for just £225 - that works out to only £75 a year. People need to wake up, this isn’t a scam, it’s just some decent discounts.

I've been looking for a contact number for getting my Bosch washer dryer repaired. I must say, I’m quite pleased with the price of £8.95; it's a fair deal in my book, especially since it didn’t increase from last year. Can’t complain about that!

I got a call from a guy who spoke really posh and said he was ringing about renewing my washing machine insurance, which apparently runs out in August. He offered a deal that was super cheap - way better than what I paid before, seemed a bit fishy. Thing is, I'd already sorted my renewal back in April. He did know my name and where I lived, but that was about it. He gave me a different phone number as their contact line, but I actually got the call from 01618541397.

My elderly dad, who’s 94 and a bit muddled, got a call about some insurance deal. I think he ended up giving his card info because money vanished from his bank. Then the Bank Fraud team got in touch with me; luckily, I have an LPA and managed to get the cash back. But when I looked at his account a few days later, I saw a direct debit had been set up and £75 was taken again. Tried ringing this number loads of times, but they hang up on me every single time. This is definitely a con job. Watch out, it’s disgusting behaviour.

I’ve had quite enough of this! A persistently ringing phone from an elderly gent with apparent memory issues, who was aggressively trying to push insurance onto me. This gentleman managed to obtain my banking details and ended up withdrawing money from my account on two separate occasions. When I tried to call them back, they wouldn’t pick up because, I suspect, they’re nothing more than con artists! It’s incredibly infuriating to see them mask their deceit behind the guise of insuring household appliances. Just dreadful!
