Earlier this morning, I received a pre-recorded message purporting to be from Santander Bank. The message alleged that there had been fraudulent activity on my bank account. Specifically, it stated that I had made a payment of 300 GBP to Apple. The voice on the message requested my confirmation regarding this payment and asked for my bank details in order to verify the transaction. However, I want to clarify that I do not have an account with Santander Bank. It is evident that this is a fraudulent scheme and should be treated as such.
