I've received a whopping eight calls from this number purporting to be from a debt management service, and they’re adamant they’re not pulling a fast one-bless their hearts! They’ve also rung me up from 02045203789 (London) and 01615201882 (Manchester) in the span of just eight minutes. Quite the persistent lot, aren’t they?

I rang them back using the 141 prefix to block my number and, no surprise, someone picked up real quick, sounding Indian. I asked what the call was about and he said it was regarding "my BT account". Thing is, I haven't had a BT account in ages! So I just ended the call straight away.

This number keeps ringing me up every single day. They don’t bother leaving any message or telling me who they are, and as soon as I pick up and my voicemail kicks in, they just hang up right away.

i got a call saying "hi is this linda? we're calling about your bt contract renewal". first off, i'm the one on the account, not my wife. second, we already updated our contract back in may last year. i've been a bt customer for over two decades, both for home and work, and they've never been one to ring me up first. this is the fourth time this week i've had one of these calls, maybe some new year scam or something. plus, we're on the telephone preference service list, so they're actually ignoring the rules.

kept saying they were calling from bt about my account but couldnt even get my name right. i asked a few times if they were really with bt and they just said they were some sort of partner. total waste of time if you ask me.
