Got a call from some bloke today asking if I was having a “lovely day”. When I asked where they got my phone number from, they claimed it was from BMW motorbikes. I told them I don’t even ride a bike, and they replied “well you came in recently, asked about one, and left your details”. Erm, no I didn’t! I told them to take my number off their list immediately. Privacy laws? Looks like a joke to me!

Don’t pick up and just block the number. In my opinion, this is definitely a SCAM. A woman called me sayin she was from BMW and told me there were some new rules comin in, so she needed some personal info. The first thing she asked for was my email. But BMW already has my number, email and address since I was the original buyer. So yeah, to me this sounds like a total SCAM.

Someone called pretending to be from BMW. They asked for my car's reg, which I gave them, then they wanted my address too. I said no. They claimed they located me on their system and said I needed to get in touch with Peter Vardy, who actually sold me the car. But when I looked it up, it doesn’t show up as BMW on Google.
