Just had a call from 08000739206 claiming to be PayPal, asking me to confirm my 16 digit card number. It really freaked me out. It also seemed odd that the phone connected right away with no voicemail or any menu options to choose from. Definitely felt off and like a scam to me. No way that’s legit!

Someone tried to pull a scam on me, claiming they were from PayPal and asking for my bank info. Totally dodgy!

Completely dodgy! They phoned me pretending to be from PayPal, saying there was suspicious activity on my account and then tried to get my card info. Don’t trust them or share any of your banking details. They’ll try calling again to keep you talking but just end the call straight away.

Complete rip off! They claim to be from PayPal support and say there's suspicious activity on your account, then try to get your bank card info. Don't share any details with them, they’re only after your money. They might call back to try and keep you talking, but just end the call straight away.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from PayPal support, asking for my credit card details. They had some of my info already which was spot on. Then they wanted the 3 digit security codes. I hung up straight away. Then they called me back from a regular mobile number trying to chat again. After reading this, I’m sure it was a scam from an Indian call centre.

I saw this number listed as some sort of PayPal support, but turns out it’s a scam from India trying to get your bank info and personal details. Definitely not legit!

An elderly mate of mine got scammed by this number, said they were from PayPal and managed to get another card number off her. Proper nasty people. When I grabbed the phone off her and tried to question them, they just ended the call! Absolute rubbish behaviour.

I got a message claiming to be from PayPal, but it was spelled as PayPai. It said “Greetings from paypai, your account has been stopped due to unusual activity. To reactivate your account please call CustomerService on 8000739206.” Pretty obvious this is a scam, don’t fall for it!
