Greetings! As someone working in a call centre for less savoury characters, I can certainly shed light on this matter. It appears that these individuals are violating Ofcom guidelines by making calls as early as 8:30 am, which is clearly against the rules that dictate telephonic communications should take place between the hours of 9 am and 9 pm. It’s quite fortunate that in my role, I’m mostly on the receiving end of these calls rather than making them, being a technician and all. However, there's still a handful of callers who are rather rude, acting as if they have some divine right to engage us, much like stepped-in gum on your shoe!

To my surprise, she retorted, "What do we do, then, add £12 to your balance for every call we make?" It was rather astonishing, to be honest.
