Got a “courtesy call” from British Gas a couple of days after I asked for a boiler quote. Turns out it was just to try and pressure me into buying. Not very subtle!

If it’s really British Gas, you’d think they’d at least leave a voicemail. This number has popped up on my phone a few times today. We had a bloke come round not long ago to give us a quote for a new boiler, but our credit check didn’t go through. I told him to forget it in the end, looks like he was just chasing a commission.

I just spoke to BG to confirm the appointment but then they kept ringing 5 more times after that! On the sixth call, I told them to stop as I don’t want them to give me a quote for a new boiler anymore because it felt like I was being harassed with all the extra calls. Honestly, BG need to chill out!
