I received a call from a marketing firm associated with British Gas. When I tried returning the call to this number, I was directed to an 0845 number to opt out of future communications. The frustrating part is that we were customers of theirs nearly two years ago, yet they persistently bombard us with calls even after we've asked them numerous times to remove our details from their database. These folks are offering us some sort of bargain, which we did indeed ask for. However, we're not keen on being tied down for an entire year, only to be stuck with a £60 credit after that stretch. We'd like to discontinue our service with BT, but it seems they're not prepared to sell us anything now, even after waiting for nearly a year and a half. If you decide to terminate your contract, you must give them three weeks' notice-90 days, if I’m not mistaken. Otherwise, take a gander at the fine print in their terms and conditions.

Earlier on, we received yet another missed call from this lot-could be the sixth or seventh time now! They really know how to get on our nerves, to say the least!
