Of course it’s gotta be paid by direct debit, that’s just how it works. Loads of you just hang up or lie about not having a bank ’cause you panic. This morning, I found myself on the receiving end of yet another nuisance call. After expressing my frustrations quite thoroughly, I decided to contact O2 directly. It turns out this number is affiliated with them, and I’ve successfully gotten myself removed from their marketing list. If you're ever uncertain, just give O2 a bell from your mobile, let them know what’s been going on, and they'll assist you in getting your number off their list. And even if you're not a customer with O2, don’t hesitate to ring them up to register your complaint.

For the past week, I’ve been inundated with these calls. The first time it happened, I was anticipating an important call, so I picked up without thinking. A chap with a rather youthful voice greeted me and inquired about my day. I responded that it wasn't going so great and pressed him for his identity and the source of his call. His rather peculiar response was, "Glad to hear it." At that moment, I firmly asked him to stop calling me. Yet, the calls persist. I’ve taken to ignoring them, and they have the courtesy not to leave a voicemail.

They call me like 2 or 3 times daily, and the first time I answered they were asking for my address and stuff. It’s getting so annoying I’m seriously thinking about switching phone providers. Every time I get a new sim, it starts all over again.

I've been receiving calls from this number daily-up to six times a day-over the last couple of months. There's no way O2 would be at it like this. I'm convinced it's a scam. I picked up once and realised almost immediately it was dodgy. One of these days, they'll realise they've been figured out. Let them squander their own time. Best to ignore them entirely!

I got a call from this number and when I picked up and said hello, all I heard was some recorded laughter then they just ended the call ?? Strange behaviour for sure!

As a mature lady, I’ve been receiving calls from unknown numbers a minimum of twice a day. I tend to ignore calls when I don’t recognise the caller, but it’s really starting to make me feel rather uneasy and quite distressed.

Dont pick up this number, its a scam. They trick you into giving them money by taking it straight off your phone credit. They’ll try to make you stay on the line by saying they’re from O2, hoping to get even more cash from you.

They ring me up twice every weekday but I always ignore it, its getting a bit too much now. I’m set on not picking up. Fingers crossed they leave a voicemail, at least it’ll cost them to call me! I reckon there must be something that can be done, but I’m going to register with the Telephone Preference Service since it helped stop calls on my old phone. Hopefully this time it leads to a hefty fine for them for breaking the regulations. I’m just curious if they’re calling from a UK call centre?
