I called, and a guy with an Indian accent answered, claiming he could fix the issue. He asked me to press some keys on my keyboard, and when I asked if this meant giving him control of my PC, he insisted it was necessary to fix the problem. I wasn’t convinced and told him I wasn’t going to do that. Then he warned me my computer would eventually crash if I didn’t cooperate!
