I've been getting calls from these individuals every single day since the 19th of October 2012. It's baffling! They never engage in conversation and simply hang up as soon as I answer. What on earth is going on?

I've received three calls from this number in the past four days. I chose to disregard them, and then they followed up with an email claiming that a loan I'd supposedly applied for had been approved. The thing is, I haven’t applied for any loans at all!

I reckon they must have nabbed my number from somewhere online. Could be from Steam since I bought some games there, or maybe because my CV is still floating around on the internet. Even though I’m employed now, I just installed the Mr Number app - sorted. I find it quite funny seeing their number pop up in my blocked calls list whenever they try phoning me. Probably some automated bot ringing my phone, which then blocks it straight away. Also weird, I got an email saying my loan application was being reviewed, but I never applied for a loan and honestly don’t need one. I just deleted it and marked it as spam. Same goes for those dodgy calls - just block ‘em. Would recommend everyone do the same honestly.

I've been getting calls from this number saying they've got money for me and want my bank info. When I told the guy he must be daft, he just hung up straight away. After that, my phone started blowing up with loads of texts nonstop.

This number rang me up and some woman with an Indian accent claimed it was about a loan I supposedly applied for. I told her I never applied for anything and asked how she got my details. Then, just like that, she ended the call!

This number keeps ringing me, and whenever I pick up, either they hang up right away or start probing for personal info. If I try to question them back, they get really annoyed and just hang up abruptly. Throughout a normal workday, I sometimes get called more than ten times, and annoyingly, they even bother me past 8pm. I've made it clear to stop contacting me - using simple language anyone could understand - but they just won't quit pestering me.

This morning, I got a call from a very cheeky woman from India on my mobile. She asked for someone named Liam, but I told her there isn't anybody called Liam here and asked her not to bother me again. She just hung up on me. Then, within about five minutes, I started getting texts from loan companies offering loans to this Liam, and even lottery numbers appeared. So far, I’ve had 33 messages over the past seven hours! I'm about to go onto their website and file an official complaint about this awful behaviour. I can only hope she gets fired - it’s outrageous how she treated me. I've never taken a loan and never will, but this kind of harassment by a company has got to be illegal. They really should be shut down.

After her calling loads of times, I finally picked up to ask her nicely to remove me from whatever list she's got me on, 'cos I'm seriously fed up with the constant buzzing. While I was at work earlier today, I got a call on my mobile from this number. Since I’ve just bought a new house, I thought it might be something important, so I answered. A woman with an Asian accent asked if I was Sharon, which I am, and then tried to confirm if I wanted to finalise a loan I supposedly applied for during the call. I told her I’d never requested any loan from anyone, then the call abruptly disconnected. I tried ringing back twice, but it only rang briefly before cutting out. After reading some of the other comments, I’m now feeling quite uneasy and will definitely be checking my bank account later. It’s all a bit troubling.

I usually ignore these kind of calls but yesterday I picked up one. The guy knew my name and said it was about a loan I supposedly applied for. When I asked where he found my number, he mentioned something about a 'sister company in the UK'. I told him if he called me again, I'd be reporting him to the police for sure!

I got a ring from this lot claiming they were about to approve my loan. I’d never go for a loan with a company like that. When I asked them for their name, the phone just went dead. I tried calling back, and the number showed up as onlinepayday.co.uk, but they either hang up straight away or the number doesn’t even exist. Weird thing is, they already knew my first name. Seeing what others have said, I guess I’ll just wait and see if they call again :-(

I told the woman I never applied for any loan and she started shouting at me to stop yelling (which I wasn’t doing!) before just hanging up. A couple of minutes later, I got a text with a link and a code to enter to get the money released! Very dodgy if you ask me.
