I've been getting calls from these individuals every single day since the 19th of October 2012. It's baffling! They never engage in conversation and simply hang up as soon as I answer. What on earth is going on?

I've received three calls from this number in the past four days. I chose to disregard them, and then they followed up with an email claiming that a loan I'd supposedly applied for had been approved. The thing is, I haven’t applied for any loans at all!

It appears my number has been plucked from the internet, possibly from a couple of avenues. One could be the times I’ve made purchases on Steam, or perhaps it’s lingering on my online CV, even though I’m happily employed at the moment. I decided to give the Mr Number app a spin, and that seems to have sorted it out. Quite amusing to see their number crop up on my list of blocked calls - it's likely just an automated system trying its luck. My phone effortlessly shuts it down! Interestingly, I also received an email saying there's a loan application currently under scrutiny… which is rather peculiar, considering I’ve not applied for any loans and certainly have no need for one. I promptly deleted the email and marked it as spam - just like I do for those pesky calls. I’d recommend everyone take a similar approach!

I promptly told her that I had not applied for any loan and asked how she obtained my name and contact details. To my surprise, she abruptly disconnected the call!

The moment I pose a question, they act all huffy and abruptly disconnect. Throughout my working hours, I find myself inundated with these calls-sometimes more than a dozen! And they even have the audacity to ring me after 8 in the evening. I’m absolutely at my wits' end with these incessant calls from this number! Honestly, the last thing I need is a loan, and if I ever change my mind, I’d much rather speak to my bank, thank you very much. It’s as though they’re determined to bother me endlessly! This rather audacious lady from India rang me earlier today, searching for someone named Liam. When she discovered there was no Liam associated with my number, she abruptly told me not to call again and hung up. Within just a few minutes, I started receiving a barrage of messages from loan companies eager to offer a loan to this mysterious Liam, along with a few lottery number notifications too! So far, I've counted an astonishing 33 text messages in the last 7 hours. I've decided it's high time to visit their website and lodge a formal complaint about this dreadful woman. I genuinely hope she faces consequences for her actions. I've never taken out a loan, and I have absolutely no intention of doing so. It seems to me that this could be a case of harassment, which surely must violate some kind of law. They ought to be shut down for good!

Today, I received a call from the number listed above while I was on duty at work. I took the call, as I’ve recently acquired a new property. An Asian lady asked if I was Sharon, which I confirmed, and then inquired if I wanted to proceed with a loan that I supposedly requested during our conversation. I informed her that I had never sought a loan from them or anyone else, and then the line went silent. I attempted to return the call twice, but it merely rings for a short while before cutting off. After perusing some of your comments, I’ve decided to monitor my bank statements once I get home. It certainly raises quite a few red flags for me.

They claimed it was regarding a loan application I’d made. I pressed him on how he obtained my number, and he waffled on about a 'sister company based in the UK'. I received a call from these folks claiming they were wrapping up my loan application. Honestly, I’d never seek a loan from one of these firms! When I inquired about their identity, the caller abruptly disconnected. I attempted to return the call, and it showed as online payday.co.uk, yet either they didn't answer or the number registered as unavailable. What’s odd is they had my first name. I've been plagued by calls from this number for ages, but I've often missed them because I'm usually behind the wheel. However, on 14th October 2013, at around ten to five, I finally picked up. The caller asked for someone named Adam, to which I replied that I wasn't him. I wanted to know why they kept ringing me over and over again. I received a call today from this number associated with onlinepayday.co.uk. The caller claimed my loan had been approved, but I was taken aback since I hadn't applied for any loan at all! When I tried to explain this, she raised her voice at me-quite unnecessary, might I add-and abruptly disconnected the call.
