Clearly a con, as there's no way I'd use PayPal for such a hefty sum!

EXTREMELY ALARMING! They pretended to be from PayPal. In reality, they'd infiltrated my account and were saying they were assisting me with some suspicious transactions. They went so far as to mention several of my previous transactions, which clearly indicated they had some inside access. Fortunately, I began to have doubts before I disclosed any sensitive information.

Received a dodgy invoice from PayPal for £599.99 from BitDefender. They put this number down as their customer support contact. Initially, I thought it was a phishing attempt, but it turned out to be just an invoice.
