I found a £15 fee on my phone bill that I didn’t expect. I never picked up the call or bought any games, but there it was listed as ZONG 0800 056 5887. I also never got any email confirming a purchase, which I’m sure I didn’t authorise. Pretty annoying!

Got a call from this number, turns out it’s linked to PayPal Carrier Payments, used to be called Zong. They handle charges, mostly from mobiles, for things like buying extra stuff in Facebook games.

I think this is one of those scams pretending to be from EDF Energy France. I’ve reported it and sent warnings to everyone I could think of - GCHQ, the FBI, CIA, and our allies too. Be careful if you get anything from (OUCVGEP), it looks dodgy.

Got hit with a £14 bill for a call from a number I have absolutely no clue about! Even my phone provider couldn’t track where it was from. Proper annoying.
