sorry about that, I got the number wrong. it should be 08000556611. this is a legit number from nationwide, so no point in dismissing it.

Got a message on my answerphone claiming it was from Nationwide, said I should call about my credit/debit card. When I rang back, a guy with an Indian accent picked up. It felt dodgy, so I hung up and contacted my local Nationwide branch directly. They told me that number isn’t theirs at all. They only get in touch about card issues by sending a text message to the member.
