WATCH OUT Someone managed to get into my O2 account. I was busy at work and ended up giving them the code that was sent to me. They kept asking loads of questions, so I just ended the call. Now I’m chatting with the proper O2 people to fix everything and lock my account down.

She also sent me a text that looked like it came from O2, with some 6 digit code in it. Here’s how it went down: I told her my bill is £6 a month, so does 40% off really make sense? Her response was mostly nonsense about discounts. I asked if she actually worked for O2. She said yes, claimed she was calling from O2. I asked where exactly she was calling from. She muttered an indistinct London address. Then I asked what the weather was like there. Nothing back. I repeated the question. She asked why I wanted to know. I told her to just look outside and tell me. Then the phone just cut off. Pretty obvious scam if you ask me.
