After that, belting out your frustrations at full volume could be quite cathartic-just remember to start with a polite request for their attention in a gentle voice, of course. It seems futile to think you can halt these incessant calls, even with the Telephone Preference Service in place. Honestly, your best bet might be to ignore the calls altogether, or perhaps engage in some ear-splitting shenanigans to really put a damper on their enthusiasm!

I received a call from this number, and the person on the line was after someone whose name I simply didn’t recognise. I politely asked her to take my number off their list, but rather than complying, she kept insisting on finding out who I was. After I told her to bugger off and ended the call, she had the audacity to ring me back almost instantly, demanding to know what I’d just said! It’s absolutely unbelievable! I hung up on her yet again, but I have a strong feeling there will be more of these calls to come!
