On 27th Feb 2026, I got a call from someone named Moira Macleod, who said she was calling about NatWest services since my local branch in Orpington is shutting down come May. She gave me the0800 051 4176 number for info. I mentioned that I'd already got a letter from NatWest with all the details I needed. Later, she sent me an email with the number 0131 380 6528, which I found listed as a scam online. She even included a personal mobile number. She never asked for any personal details, but I definitely won’t be ringing any of those numbers.

My mum got a call from someone claiming to be Nat West and gave her a number to phone back on. Before she dialled it, I called her up and something didn’t feel right straight away. I tried the number they gave, and an automated voice asked for her account number and PIN? That seemed totally sus to me. Even if it’s really Nat West, I can’t see them wanting that kind of info over the phone, especially from older folks. I warned my mum to never hand over details by phone and to always get stuff like this in writing instead.

Had a blocked call earlier and then got a text from 08000 514176 saying they were from NatWest fraud and that there were some dodgy transactions on my account, plus my card was cancelled. I rang my bank back on another phone just to check and they told me my card was fine, so obviously it was a scam trying to fish for my details. Total con job.

A caller insisted they were from Natwest and claimed there was an attempt to set up a big direct debit on my account. They then asked for my recent transaction details and current balance. They insisted they’d give me new sort and account numbers, but I told them I’d rather visit the bank in person to sort it out. They also said someone tried to get a loan on my Monzo account and asked me to complete the loan application steps, which I refused. They cut the call off after that. When I spoke to the bank, they confirmed no one had called me and said it was definitely a scam.

It was a really weird call, not your typical one. At first, I could hear a person talking with an American accent swearing quite a bit, and then someone else with a foreign accent joined in. I just ignored it and didn’t pick up, and after a bit, they just hung up. Strange experience.

Got a call saying it was from NatWest fraud dept, saying there was some dodgy activity on my account. They tried telling me to verify payments and stuff, but I told them my card’s already frozen. Then they started going on about my sort code and account being used suspiciously. I said I’d ring NatWest direct and the line just went dead. Rang NatWest myself after and they said it was definitely a scam, my account was perfectly alright and no one had called me. Watch out for these kinds of scams!

I got a call from a number I thought was my bank, so I rang them back. Turns out it really was NatWest - I checked and that number matches theirs. Sadly, some fraud happened with my account and there was suspicious activity from Liverpool. So yeah, it's definitely NatWest.

Havent got a call yet but did get an email on 22nd January 2021 about help from Nat West with banking stuff. Saw what others said from 2020 and felt a bit iffy about it too. I’ll still look into it and told my family to watch out just in case. These days it’s hard to trust anything, especially since Nat West peeps now ring from mobile phones, not the old landlines like before.

Natwest Business Customer Service passed me this number, saying it was the direct contact for Bounce Back Business Loans support. I rang it a short while ago, only to get an automated message saying the line was unattended because of a building evacuation. That’s a new one for me, never heard that excuse before.

On 02/04/2020, I got a call from someone named Georgia claiming to be with Nat West bank, saying since I’m over 70, they wanted to check if I needed any help with my accounts. Then just today, another lady with a similar English accent rang me from the same place, asking if everything was alright and if I needed any assistance.

Got a call from this number claiming to be Nat West. The guy said he was ringing from home and asked if I was having any issues.
