As a TalkTalk subscriber, I just got another email today regarding a complimentary broadband upgrade. They mentioned something about needing to run a new cable from the street to my house, which would allegedly take about two to three hours. I had previously dismissed the first email, suspecting it might be some kind of con. If this offer is legitimate, it definitely doesn't inspire much trust. I think I’ll reach out to TalkTalk via an alternate number to verify the authenticity of this communication.

I've just received a dodgy email that claims to be from Talk Talk, offering me a complimentary upgrade. It instructs me to ring a particular number. Definitely sounds fishy!

I've been receiving emails suggesting a complimentary upgrade to my broadband with TalkTalk, alongside an engineer's visit arranged without any additional charges. These are just snippets from the emails cluttering my inbox.

Earlier today, I received a call from a number I didn’t recognise at all. Despite it being lunchtime, I decided to pick up. A lady on the other end claimed she was from TalkTalk, offering a faster internet service. To cut a long story short, I’m not even one of their customers, and I suspect this isn't even a legitimate TalkTalk call. Just a word of warning to folks-stay vigilant!

I happen to be a customer of TT as well, yet I have my doubts about the authenticity of this particular call from them.

I reckon it’s a bit dodgy, to be honest. They claimed to be from TalkTalk, promising me a fantastic free upgrade for my broadband. The thing is, I’m already a TalkTalk customer!
