He thanked me for speaking to him and admitted he wasn’t sure how they got my number since it wasn’t meant to be a cold call but more like following up on a previous inquiry.

Got a missed call from a number local to Rochdale, rang it back and some guy tried pushing a “special” deal for an EE business plan - which I definitely dont have. So yeah, blocked them straight away.

I ended the call pretty quick once I figured out it was one of those call centres, though the bloke still managed to ask for me by name. Seems like they've recently got some updated details and are seeing if they can get something out of it.
