It was an 0800 number! Figured it could be something urgent!! Some company saying they were will writers, and asked if they could send me info. I told them I already have a will, then he wanted to email me anyway. I just said no thanks and hung up. Blocked and reported straight away.

Got a call from a lady who sounded like she was from Australia, asking for me by name. Thought it was one of those dodgy scam calls, so I didn’t pick up. Got a call on my mobile from supposedly a will writing company. There was a pause after I answered, which in my opinion usually means it’s dodgy. Guy sounded polite and clear but said he wanted to “send some documents through the post.” I told him straight up I already have a will and it's with my solicitor. He immediately ended the call. If he had introduced himself properly like “Hi, this is XYZ Will Writing Service,” I might of been less suspicious, but he asked for my name right away. Feels like a phishing scam to me.

I received no response when I tried reaching out, but a quick Google search revealed that this number belongs to a firm that provides will services, and there are several unfavourable reports regarding them. It appears they may be up to no good. I strongly recommend ignoring their calls and adding them to your block list!
