I received a rather disturbing phone call today from some rather unpleasant individuals who began discussing funeral arrangements with me. Thankfully, it’s been ages since I've had to deal with a bereavement in my family, so this unsolicited conversation was nothing short of an annoyance.

I received a call from an unfamiliar number but they didn't pick up when I answered.

Had a funny feeling about a call that came through, so I opted not to pick up. Seemed a bit dodgy.

They tried to pitch me a funeral plan, but I told them I'm not planning on kicking the bucket just yet!

I received what was claimed to be a call about a "Funeral Plan." Honestly, I can’t fathom why anyone would consider sorting out such a serious matter based on a random phone call from a call centre, especially from a firm miles away from my area! It really begs the question—how on earth did they even get hold of my name and contact details?

I wouldn't bother picking up; it just keeps incessantly ringing.

Mentioned something about a funeral arrangement and now has cut off all contact.

Picked up the phone and was immediately met with a cacophony of background chatter, as though I had called a busy call centre. I greeted them with a "hello," but there was no response at all before they abruptly ended the call. Quite odd, really!

After reading the previous remarks about this number, I've decided to go ahead and block it.

Received a call from 08000478046, which turned out to be from 1 Life Funeral Planning. I informed Bradley that I wasn't keen on their offer and politely suggested he leave me alone!

I received a rather cheeky call from some numpty who had the gall to know my first name and was trying to peddle a funeral plan. How utterly outrageous!

It flagged as potential spam when I got the call. I chose not to pick up.

Received calls from this number repeatedly. I've decided to ignore them now, as they never bother to leave a voicemail. Quite clearly, it’s a spammer.

Honestly, it’s high time we put an end to these automated diallers! How on earth do they manage to snag our numbers? The laws around cold calling in the UK need a serious overhaul – or better yet, let’s just make it outright illegal! Telemarketing, telesales, you name it – it’s become a right nuisance!

It seems like it might have been one of those pesky marketing calls or something in that vein. They rang me earlier today but didn’t bother to leave a message, so I’m left in the dark about their identity! Clearly, it wasn’t anything critical, so I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number.
