Had a quick word with South East Water 'bout a billing issue. Right off the bat, they mentioned some survey thing and said if you don't fancy follow-up calls, just tell the person on the line. Sounded alright to me, but I ended up missing their call anyway and they didn't leave a voicemail or anything. Pretty harmless really.

Just received a call from this number. It didn’t match my South East Water account, so I decided to investigate a bit.
I’ve been in correspondence with them lately, so it made me curious.
There was this automated voice: Q1 fine. Q2 fine. Q3... refer back to Q1! At that point, I lost interest, so I’ve no clue what was meant to come after that (perhaps a year of complimentary water?😉)
Complete time drain - for both them and for me. But I still rate them a 10!!

I'd like to share my experience with the customer service team over at South East Water. Honestly, when you ring them up, you can't help but notice those recorded messages that greet you at the beginning. They definitely set the tone for the call!

About an hour earlier, I spoke with South East Water, but I ended up missing a call from them later and found a voicemail waiting. The message sounded automated and asked me to press 1 to agree or 2 to decline a few questions, but didn’t say who was calling. Because of that, I just ended the call. I’m going to get in touch with SEW and suggest they make sure their messages clearly state they're from them, especially since it’s a freephone number - it could easily be mistaken for a scam.

Not long after I had a chat with SE Water back in March 2023, I got a missed call from this number that landed in my voicemail. My phone was charging and turned off, so when the call came through, I couldn't respond to the automated questions. As a result, I ended up with a rather awkward silent voicemail that was just waiting for me to say something. It eventually disconnected after roughly half a minute without any sound.
