Just had a right nuisance call at home! Honestly, we can't stand these cold-callers, they're an absolute pain! Its well frustrating when you’ve had a long week, and then some cheeky sod from a dodgy call centre starts rambling on at you. Help them? Not likely! They claim to be from a company called A Plus Surveys or something to that effect. It's just beyond irritating! Anyway, that's my little vent for the day. Cheers!

I received a call just recently, and as soon as we mentioned that we don’t share personal information or participate in any surveys, the individual on the line turned quite unpleasant. When we informed them that we are on the Telephone Preference Service list, the tone shifted somewhat - albeit not entirely civil. The moment we hinted at reporting them and their organisation to the TPS, the caller responded with, “You don’t even know who our company is,” before abruptly hanging up on us. Quite the experience, I must say!

I just received a call from this number. Typically, what I do is answer and then keep hitting the star and hash keys until they hang up. After that, I go ahead and block the number using the option available on my phone.

Received a call from this number while we were both at work. Our answering machine took the call, but all it recorded was an empty silence that lasted a good twenty minutes. To make matters worse, it jammed our phone line even after they hung up! We ended up having to switch off every phone and unplug the line just to get the dial tone back. Honestly, these individuals ought to have their balls taken away and served to a pack of baby sharks! What a right palaver!

Absolutely relentless, these callers! The moment we asked them to clarify the purpose of their call, the subject would swiftly shift. Our conversation became a bit of a back-and-forth game with repeated requests for clarity. But when we finally expressed our disinterest, they became rather rude. We decided it was best to hang up. Initially, we engaged with them in a friendly manner, trying to ascertain the reason for the ring, but they just kept prodding for more information. Quite the tiresome experience, really!

We picked up the phone and introduced ourselves, but then there was a rather odd five minutes of complete silence on the other end before the call was suddenly ended by them.

I recently received a call from this number. The person on the other end claimed they had a handful of questions to clarify, but as soon as we tried to pin her down on what those queries were really about, she became incredibly evasive. It's almost as if she was flustered and thought she had stumbled into some bizarre parallel universe where interviewers were on the receiving end of the questions and cats were somehow at the wheel of automobiles. Regardless, the whole encounter felt rather dubious.

When we pushed for more details regarding the purpose of their call, that guy had the audacity to say, 'I ask the questions, alright?' I've just received an unwanted call from these charlatans. As soon as I asked for clarification on why they’re disregarding our TPS registration, rather than offering an apology, they launched into a rather defensive conversation about not selling anything. I’ve tried to ring them back a handful of times, but all I get is a brief message. However, not to worry-every time we dial their number, it’s quite likely costing them dosh! So, I might just keep giving them a bell now and then for good measure! 😊

We just received a call from these individuals and decided to investigate the number. The person they were after isn't home at the moment, so we told them, "They're not in right now." They insisted they would ring back as soon as they returned, suggesting we should contact their mobile instead. I ended up hanging up the call, as the woman on the line gave off a rather shifty vibe!

This number keeps ringing us constantly. I reckon they're utilising some sort of auto-dialler, as when you pick up too promptly, the line disconnects. Just today, a chap with a rather poor grasp of English was on the other end, wanting to speak to the homeowner. We asked for her name and the company she represented. He said it was Steven (clearly a dodgy alias!). We told him we were rather preoccupied. He insisted he wasn’t trying to sell anything. We pressed him for the reason behind his call, but his answer was vague and utterly baffling. Unable to comprehend him, we decided to cut the conversation short and hung up!

Got a call from a guy with a foreign-sounding accent, maybe a bit Jamaican, sounded quite sharp actually. He asked if I was 'Mrs Wilson'. I told him no, that he’d definitely dialled the wrong number. After that, there was a pause - about 15 seconds of silence before he just put the phone down. I asked if he was telemarketer and he quickly denied it, saying 'nooo, no, no, no' in a pretty chill tone, then ended the call. Pretty sure that was just a telemarketer in disguise! Oh well!

We've just received a rather unpleasant message from this lot, and to top it off, they abruptly cut off the call! It’s our strong suspicion that they’re up to no good, possibly even fraud, and we’re planning to report them to the authorities because there’s definitely something fishy going on. I did a bit of digging online and checked Companies House for A+ Survey, but it seems they’re nowhere to be found!

Over the past nine months, I’ve been flooded with random spam calls from various idiots. I make a point of saving the numbers, labelling them as "Sales Wankers" or "PPI Tossers" and the like. It’s oddly satisfying to just dismiss their rings or cut them off right away, sometimes even giving them a cheeky two finger wave for good measure.
