Then he wasn’t even certain if I was male or female, asking if I was "Mr or Mrs [surname]". He also said I’d reported a car accident, which is complete rubbish, I’ve never had one. I told them I don’t drive cause I’m visually impaired and don’t even have a car. Then I asked where they got my info from, and they came up with some excuse about a wrong report before just cutting off. Got a call from this number on 15th March 2019. I picked up and there was an Indian guy with pretty broken English who kept asking about an accident he said he knew a lot about. Thing is, I never put in a claim since no one was injured and everything was sorted out. When I told him I was actually dealing with a separate claim from being hit by a stolen vehicle, he showed no interest. Looks like just another claims outfit fishing for info using my details.
