What a right nuisance! I had a call from someone claiming to be with Apple Security, but it was obviously a scam. I did some digging on the number and realised it’s no good. They nearly compromised my computer! I foolishly clicked on a dodgy link, and then a warning flashed up saying my PC was compromised, telling me to ring this number. Quite alarming, really!

This number popped up on my computer too, saying my system was frozen or locked or something. Feels dodgy, like some kind of scam, but I’m not really sure what steps to take next!

I got a message pop up on my laptop saying to ring this number because it's Apple security or something like that. Not sure if it's legit or a scam, but I’m not gonna call. Just feels dodgy, so I’d rather not take the chance.

I ended up on a site claiming a dog waited in one spot for four years until its owner came back. The moment I opened it, a pop-up popped up saying my computer was infected and it was from Microsoft. It told me to call 0800 041 8827 straight away (which I didn’t). The error code showed -G-0x80070057. I wasn’t able to close the page, so I just pulled the plug on my PC. After rebooting, I looked up the number and, unsurprisingly, it’s a scam.
