They asked to speak with the director. When I asked who was calling, they said it was about the electricity bill and that a payment was needed for the office. I told them we don’t handle utilities separately as it’s included in the rent. She just made up some excuse and hung up.

My partner has done a bit of sleuthing and attempted to return some of the calls, only to find that they’re flagged as spam or potentially hazardous on his app. Oddly enough, this site indicates they're safe. Just wanted to give a heads-up to others out there.

Someone called claiming to be from the Tenancy Board and said they could assist with my electricity charges. They mentioned that when you move into a new home, sometimes you might get stuck paying someone else's bills. There's no such organisation called the Tenancy Board though. Plus, my place is newly built and not even located in the UK. Definitely just a scammer who didn’t bother to check the facts.

Got a call from this number moments ago. The man on the line wanted to know who takes care of the electric bill. I said it was someone who doesn’t live here and he asked me twice for that person’s mobile number, which I didn’t want to share. When I asked him who he really was and where he was calling from, he just ended the call. Seems likely I’ll be getting more calls from them.
