About three weeks ago, someone shared a post way back in the feed, over a page back, that explains clearly how to put an end to these scam calls. These con artists count on the fact that most people here in the UK don't bother reporting their dodgy calls. That’s exactly why the volume of scam calls keeps going up. If people don’t bother letting authorities know whenever they get scammed, they can’t really moan about it constantly happening! The more people who report every single scam call, the better chance we have of cutting them down.

Got calls a few times from an Indian woman using this number, she was trying to push me '3' internet deals, but I just told her I wasn’t interested and ended the call. They kept ringing even though I didn’t want to speak to them, which is annoying. Saw on BBC iPlayer’s 'Scam Interceptors' the other day that the best thing is to just put the phone down straight away. Honestly, watch out for these random sales calls!

Then he said he was Jack, something about calling from NatWest or some bank like that, his accent was quite thick. I told him I wasn’t interested and to stop ringing me. If you really want to get rid of scam calls, you’ve got to report them through the official channels made for that. Someone actually shared detailed instructions about this on here about two weeks ago - check about a page and a half back in the thread. The reason why these annoying calls and texts just keep coming is because too many people in the UK don’t bother reporting them. It affects everyone in the end. So whenever you know it’s a scam, make sure you file a report!
