08000329630 Summary (Read all comments)

Phone number ☎️ 08000329630 👆 is reported as a scam number targeting vehicle owners with fake accident claims supposedly from LV insurance. Victims receive realistic-looking texts, emails, or letters stating their car was involved in an accident that may affect their policy, urging them to call the number. Many who contacted their real insurer confirmed these messages are fraudulent; LV themselves warn they do not contact customers about accidents via text. The scammers often request personal details and use convincing correspondence with official logos, sometimes even mentioning no claim discounts or premiums. Several users noted the suspicious timing or false claims, such as accidents involving vehicles they no longer own or never had. The effort appears to be phishing for information under a believable motor insurance pretext.

Got a weird voicemail saying I'd been in a crash and if I didn’t get back in 5 days they’d deal with the other person. Sounds nothing like how insurance usually works. What gave it away was when they didn’t even bother saying “hello sir” or “Mr” but just started with “Dad”. Bit of a blunder!

Got a text saying: "Your car insurance company here. We've been informed your vehicle was in a crash on 06/06/22 which might affect your policy, no claim bonus and renewal cost. Please ring us asap on 0800 032 9630 with reference 200-70-986448, cheers." I had a quick search online and decided not to call.

Got an email that looked proper official, then a letter supposedly from LV Insurance landed in my post. They were saying my car, which I sold about seven months ago, had been in an accident. I had a quick look on LV’s site but found nothing about any incident. The letter included a phone number, 0800 032 9630, which judging by what I've seen here is probably a scam. I haven’t phoned it though, so I can’t really say what kind of scam it might be.

Be wary of dodgy car insurance schemes!

I got a letter that looked like it was from LV insurance about a car crash my dad was involved in last year. The problem is, my dad passed away that same year, but the letter was still addressed to him. It had the number 0800 032 9630 on it. I decided not to call it straight away because something felt off, even though the letter seemed legit. I reckon if my dad had still been alive, he might have believed it. Really awful folks behind this.

Got a letter on Liverpool Victoria paper, looked proper genuine, saying my car was involved in an accident and to ring an 0800 number. I was dead worried initially, but some of the questions they asked didn’t sit right with me. So, I looked up the number on Google...

So, I got a letter and a text saying I was in a car accident on April 1st, but they didn't say where or what car was involved. I rang LV, since I'm insured with them, and they asked me to send photos of my car to show it wasn’t mine. Such a strange mix-up!

Got a text claiming to be from LV=, which I think is my insurer, but turns out it wasn’t from them at all.

Got a message from LV (Liverpool Victoria) saying I’d been involved in an accident, which was totally untrue. Then, about a fortnight later, I got another text from them with a different phone number, asking me to get in touch. Felt really dodgy to me.

I received an email from [email protected][###] claiming my vehicle had been in an accident, which wasn’t true at all. The message instructed me to ring 0800 032 9630 for customer service. The email looked pretty convincing, complete with lv logos and everything.

Got a message from LV Insurance claiming I’d been in a crash on a certain date, telling me to ring 0800 032 9630 with a ref number to sort it out. Since I knew I hadn’t had any accident, I didn’t call that number. I looked up LV’s official contact on their website and called them instead. They told me it was a scam and advised me to block the number. Apparently LV only sends texts about policy renewals, not accidents.

Got a call from a number with no ID, so I just let it ring out. Shortly after, I got a message saying it was from LV, where I actually have my insurance. Bit suspicious if you ask me!

This message was a total scam, making up some fake story about an accident that never happened. Honestly, best to just ignore these muppets because they’re just trying to phish your info. Definitely don't bother replying.

Got a text from this number about an accident LV said I was part of. I called them back and they were from LV car insurance. Told them there was no way I was in any crash that day - I remember exactly where I was.

I got a call from someone claiming to be with L.V. They said I’d been in an accident with a moped on 10/12/19, which I denied. Later, they emailed me on what looked like L.V headed paper, asking for the number on the letter and my address to “verify” things. I asked where they said this accident took place and they finally said Paignton, Devon. I told them that was not right since I live in Norfolk. The voice sounded like a young lady. She asked if there had been any damage to my car and I replied no. Then she just said goodbye and take care.

Got a call from someone saying they were from LV, talking about a car crash I’d been involved in. Thing is, the crash was sorted out by the other person’s insurance, definitely not LV. Plus, I don’t even have a policy with LV. They kept pressing me for my personal info, which I refused to give. It felt a bit strange, though they sounded pretty believable at first.
