A woman called me and said, 'I heard you had a car crash?'

How exactly can one pin down what a 'Muslim voice' is supposed to sound like? Surely, 'Muslim' merely denotes an individual who adheres to Islam, right? Are we really suggesting that this relates to their ethnicity? While it’s true that a person’s cultural heritage and geographic roots might influence their accent, I’ve yet to encounter a situation where one’s religious beliefs dictate the way they communicate.

I picked up the phone right away but as soon as I said "Hello", they just ended the call.

Got a call from 08000327329 saying it might be a scam, bit unsure if its really Lloyds or not.

Called me and then promptly hung up, clearly trying multiple numbers simultaneously.

I missed the call as I wasn’t able to pick up the phone before it stopped ringing.

Got a call from Pornhub about doing some kind of casting couch thing, totally caught me off guard.

I picked up but no one said a word.

Could this be a dodgy caller? I missed the call and typically avoid answering unknown numbers. I'll pop by the bank today to look into it.

I received a ring from 08000327329, but I didn't catch it in time. They left a voicemail stating there was nothing to be alarmed about and identified themselves as being from Lloyds Bank. I found it quite peculiar since I'd previously requested not to receive any phone calls. A week rolled by, and then I got another call from a woman who sounded rather chipper. She introduced herself as "Michelle" and appeared to be on familiar terms with me! She was probing whether I might be interested in a 0% transfer offer. I politely declined, but she attempted to pitch it again, albeit phrased differently. I reiterated my uninterest, and she responded with a casual "oh, that's alright" before the call was mutually wrapped up. I think I should probably visit a local branch and clarify what's going on. It's quite surprising to see so many others here expressing their concerns too. I must admit, I'm feeling a bit anxious about it all. By the way, she had a noticeable accent from Birmingham.

Yeah, I reckon it was Lloyds Bank as well. I've been waiting for a guy to ring me but thought he'd call from his bank mobile (the number he gave me, which my phone should have picked up). Instead of that, the call showed as 'unknown'. I was driving at the time, so I didn’t want to pick up an unknown number but (like others have said) why didn't he just leave a voicemail? If he had, I’d have known it was him and answered straight away. Really not happy about that.

Got a call from this number a moment ago. Ended the call before their voicemail started. I don’t have any Lloyds account, so it seems dodgy to me. Planning to block it straight away.

Didn’t pick up. If it was really from Lloyds and something important they needed to say, they’d have left a voicemail, but they didnt.

Received a call purporting to be from Lloyds, but I couldn't shake the feeling that something wasn't quite right. They requested I pop in for a meeting, which raised a few eyebrows.

Earlier today, I got a call from 251117 and felt a bit suspicious since they seemed to have knowledge about my upcoming appointment at the local branch next week. So, I popped into the branch to inquire further, and they mentioned that for privacy reasons, they can't outright confirm it’s Lloyds Bank when speaking over the phone - in case a partner or someone else isn’t aware of the account, you see. Interestingly, I had a direct conversation with the caller, who turned out to be from the Wellingborough branch. Quite the experience!

Not sure who was ringing but as soon as I picked up they just dropped the call, this is the second time this week it’s happened.
