I suspect this number is a complete con! They claimed there was some sort of attempted fraud linked to my account, but it’s utterly false. What a ridiculous way to try and swindle people!

Utterly convinced this is a scam! I've been bombarded with three rather dodgy text messages—two about transactions that supposedly failed and one purporting to be from NatWest. Following that, I've been inundated with calls from this number. Best to steer clear and not pick up the phone!

Received a rather concerning call today (8th May 2024) from this number, which left a voicemail mentioning my name and some suspicious transactions on my debit card. I decided to return the call, thinking it was a free number; however, no one seemed to be on the line. It appears this could be a scam.

I've received a couple of phone calls from this number. After doing a bit of digging on here, I suspected it might be a scam. I decided to ring NatWest directly, and they confirmed that there had been some dodgy transactions on my debit card, which they promptly blocked. Thankfully, they've refunded the money and are in the process of sending me a new card.

I just had a rather dodgy phone call claiming to be from the Natwest Fraud Prevention Team. It's definitely a scam! I made sure to ring Natwest directly using the number found on the back of my debit card, and they assured me that 0800 032 6177 isn’t one of theirs. Best to stay alert!
