This number kept ringing me nearly every single day! Told them I’m not interested in any sort of wanking contest. Enough already!

Really, do yourself a favour and hang up! The caller was unbelievably rude, accusing me outright of dishonesty. Truly appalling behaviour, if you ask me! What a disgraceful way to treat someone!

No hello or anything, just straight to asking how old I am. This was definitely a scam call, so watch out and don’t share any of your private details with these people.

So this bloke rang me up trying to set up a smart meter install. When I asked him to send me some info, he couldn’t give me any details over the phone. I told him if he knows my address, just send the paperwork through. Then, straight away, he just ended the call. Pretty dodgy if you ask me.

Not sure who that was, but signal’s really rubbish round here at the moment, barely any connection. The caller managed to moan about the bad signal and said they’d try calling back. Just checked this site and it turns out it was just another annoying spam call. On the bright side, our local mast’s been out of action for over two weeks now (again!) so at least I’m not getting flooded with scam calls!

I got a call from some bloke claiming to be with Aviva, and alarmingly, he already knew my full name and where I live. I'm nearly 70 and quite sharp when it comes to spotting scams. He kept banging on about a funeral insurance policy that I definitely don’t have. When I turned the tables and asked him a few pointed questions, he just dropped the call.

Got a call from a blocked number earlier, turned out to be from some life insurance firm trying to offer me a quote.
