This number will incessantly ring you, and it’s rather infuriating, isn’t it? It turns out it’s linked to MBNA, and they’re rather keen to get in touch with you about your credit card situation-probably a missed payment or something similar. You might not even realise your card is actually through MBNA, even if it’s branded by Sony, Amazon, or Bank Of America. It's all rather sneaky, wouldn’t you say?

Earlier today, we received a call from this number as well. Just like others have mentioned, the individuals on the line professed to be from MBNA. Yet, given the sheer volume of scams floating about lately, we are adamant about not divulging any personal information to anyone unless we can verify their identity beyond doubt. It’s impossible not to speculate that MBNA (if it truly was them) has turned their procedures upside down. One would think they’d hire knowledgeable staff to handle these situations properly!

Has anyone any additional information about this? I received a couple of calls from the same number earlier today and we simply chose not to engage with them. We hung up immediately! I’d be keen to know if this is linked to MBNA and what on earth is prompting these individuals to utilise a recorded message system in such a manner.

This lot appears to be from MBNA, and they’re in a bit of a frenzy trying to get in touch regarding your credit cards, whether it’s a late payment or something similar. You might not even realise that your card is through MBNA, perhaps from retailers like Sony, Amazon, or even Bank of America.

I received a call from this number and decided to return the call. To my surprise, the bloke on the other end asked for our account number. The odd thing is, we don’t possess any type of card or account with MBNA at all! Quite peculiar, isn't it?

I received a call from this number, and it was a recorded message claiming to be from Virgin Credit Cards, saying there was an "urgent and crucial message" for us. I hung up right when they asked for our date of birth! Quite dodgy, if you ask me!
