Please, stop ringing me! I get calls like 4 times daily ever since I switched my bank account to Reward Silver. Natwest have no record of this phone number. I’m really worried about how these dodgy callers even know about my upgrade and say they’re from Natwest doing surveys. When I ask them something simple they just can’t answer and then just hang up. Then they ring me again hours later, from about 6 in the morning right up to 11 at night, every single day since the account change.

to quote directly, it’s basically the same - "11/09/2018 this is a market research firm doing a satisfaction poll on behalf of natwest / rbs about a rewards account i recently opened. i haven’t finished the survey yet and asked them to ring back later. that said, if they ask for personal info it’s only for profiling the survey results and shouldn’t be connected to your bank details at all. as someone who used to work in social research, i’m honestly surprised the bank branches haven’t been informed about this study given how sensitive the topic and data are."

This seems to be a market research firm carrying out a satisfaction survey for NatWest / RBS about a rewards account I recently set up. I haven’t finished the survey yet and asked them to ring me back later. If they do request personal info, it should only be for profiling the feedback and NOT connected to your actual bank details whatsoever. Having worked in social research myself, I’m quite surprised that branch staff haven’t been informed about this survey given the sensitivity of the topic and data involved.

Out of sheer curiosity, I decided to return their call, only to discover they were acting on behalf of a client trying to peddle a product or service. This number has been calling us several times a week. Earlier today, we answered and a chap on the line claimed to be representing Debenhams. He said he was calling about concerns related to online identity theft affecting cardholders and needed to have a conversation with us. We had to let him know that we were too busy at that moment and asked him to ring back another day. Honestly, we have no plans to answer this number again and would advise others to do the same. Even if it were a legitimate call, their service isn't something we find necessary.

When I called it back, an automated voice informed me that the company was Athenium (or something similar), and they claimed to be reaching out to talk about some service or offer.
