3 yearsI've seen this bloke pop up right after doing some money gram stuff at certain post offices. Feels like a total scam to me. I use MG quite a bit, and I've picked up on a weird connection between those calls and some particular post office staff. Just guessing here, but it’s a dodgy coincidence if you ask me. I’m usually pretty chill and ignore these sketchy types, but this could be a proper risk for others.MoneyGramPost Office5 yearsJust a heads up, I got caught up in a refund scam linked to Monrygram. Watch out!Monrygram6 yearsHad a call from someone claiming to be Microsoft. They locked us out of our PC and attempted to withdraw over £2,000 from our account. Ended up blocking their number straight away.Microsoft9 yearsWhat a nightmare! I sent some money over to my mum, but she wasn’t able to pick it up. They told me to call this number 08000260535. When I rang customer service, their English was so bad I could hardly understand a word. I’m not a native speaker myself, but this was next level confusing. Eventually, after all the hassle, I managed to get my money back. Total disaster from start to finish.9 yearsGot a letter from Moneygram dated 5th March 2016 saying I was owed some money from a refund that wasn’t picked up last year. I called the number 08000260535 and was given an eight-digit reference code. Took that to my local post office, but the postmaster had no clue about the refund or how to deal with it. He said he’d get in touch with post office HQ and let me know what to do next. Still waiting to hear back on how to claim the money.Moneygram9 yearsGot a letter following the comment dated 06/04/2016. My daughter rang twice and was given a reference number, told to pick up a refund from the post office. We're still working it out since she had already sent a Postal Order to Europe earlier this year. Number was 08000260535.Post OfficeEurope10 yearsI got an email saying there's money they sent me that I haven't picked up yet, and if I want a refund, I just need to answer some questions. Thing is, I never sent anything through MoneyGram International at all! The email looked kinda legit at first, but when I looked up the number, over 200 folks had checked it out, the latest just a couple of days back. Honestly, this screams scam to me. Best thing to do? Just throw that letter straight in the bin.MoneyGram International LimitedSubmit Your Own Report (0800 026 0535)
