I've been inundated with annoying telephone calls from Vanquis Bank, even after asking them to cease and desist. At this point, I've given up on picking up and have saved their number as 'SPAM' to avoid any accidental answers. This method seems to work wonders; it curbs my inclination to respond with my own rudeness. Everyone wins in this scenario, I reckon!

First my mobile rings, then a couple of minutes later my landline gets a call. I don't pick up either time, but they keep trying anyway.

Vanquis Bank keeps ringing me up with rubbish, even after I told them to cut it out. These days I just don’t pick up and have labelled their number as ‘JUNK’ so I don’t accidentally answer it. Honestly, it stops me from wanting to be rude back - win-win situation if you ask me!

I decided to return the call, making sure my number was hidden by putting 141 before it, and got a voicemail saying, “Vanquis Bank tried reaching you today. We’ll get in touch again soon.” I don’t owe them a penny since my account is all paid up and I always pay off my balance on time. From what I’ve noticed before, Vanquis often rings me up just to try and push some expensive service that benefits them more than me. I only stick with Vanquis because of my current credit score, which frankly isn’t great, and I can't see why anyone with solid credit would want to bank with them.
