I've received a barrage of calls from this number, claiming to be associated with things like beneficial claims or finance. Even though I'm registered with the Telephone Preference Service and have flagged them, they just wouldn't take the hint. However, I decided to try a different approach - I actually engaged them in conversation. When they would ring, I played along, asking lots of questions and keeping them on the line for a good thirty minutes. After doing this a couple of times, they miraculously stopped calling! So, it might be worth investing some time just to send them packing.

We gave the number a ring and someone answered, identifying themselves as from Beneficial Claims. We asked the gentleman to remove us from their marketing list, and he duly noted our number, assuring us it would be done. Frustrated, we also lodged a complaint with the TPS since our number is already on their register. We shall see if they attempt to contact us again!

When I was eventually connected to a representative, she introduced herself as an employee of "Beneficial Finance" from a location in South Wales. However, upon doing a bit of sleuthing online, it became quite clear that the number 08000190105 actually belongs to a business called Blue Sky, situated at 215 Whitchurch Road, Cardiff CF14 3JR. They seem to be either oblivious or simply disregardful of the Telephone Preference Service.
