I've got Call Guardian on my home phone, and they actually let a message through. It was a woman with an American accent, saying there was an urgent message for me and I should ring them back!

This number has rung me loads today but I just ended the call straight away since I’m on the no cold call list. When I did pick up, there was a weird pause, then some bloke with a strange accent started talking, but I didn’t catch a word cos I cut them off sharpish. Feels like just another cold call to me.

This number called me but I missed it. I recently put in a loan application so not sure if they are connected at all.

They go by P2P Lettings.

Came up with some rubbish story about a junior team member forgetting papers in their office, even tho we’re literally thousands of miles away.

Then they went straight to the colleague and started pushing some kind of deal without telling them what it was.

Sounds like a proper Boiler Room scam to me.
