I've got Call Guardian set up on my home phone, and it seems they managed to leave me a voicemail. It was a woman with an American accent, claiming she had something important to share and insisted I give her a ring back!

I've received quite a few calls from this number today, and they all ended as soon as I picked up. Considering I'm on the list to avoid cold calls, I couldn’t shake the notion that’s precisely what it was. When I did answer, there was a noticeable pause before a chap with a non-local accent began chatting. Truth be told, I didn’t catch a word of what he was on about as I promptly disconnected the call.

They refer to themselves as P2P Lettings. It's rather absurd that they claim a junior staff member misplaced some paperwork in their office, especially since we reside almost 3,000 miles apart! They even rang up the colleague straight away, attempting to pitch an offer without divulging any specifics. It's a classic case of a shady operation, no doubt about it.
