Got a voicemail from someone claiming to be RBS, saying there was some weird stuff going on with my credit card and I needed to ring them back. They even mentioned my name in the message.

Totally legit. It’s an automated call from RBS’s fraud team to unblock your card. They ask you a few things to prove it’s you, then read off the last 5 transactions you made, which only RBS would have on record. If those charges look familiar, you just say yes and they unblock your card. Pretty safe from my experience.

They called me a couple times, and on the second call, they left a voicemail claiming to be from the RBS Fraud team and asked me to ring them back.

Got a recorded message claiming there was fraud on my RBS credit card. They even said my name and told me to press 1 to talk to an agent or 5 to get more details. I just ended the call straight away... this happened two times today.

Got a call on my home phone, it was some automated voice asking for me by name. They said they were from RBS and told me to press 1. I usually wait for my answering machine to pick up, so I just deleted the message.
