Caution, everyone! There's a fresh scam doing the rounds!
I was browsing through HMRC's site when a dodgy message popped up on my screen. I called the number provided, and they were masquerading as Microsoft, claiming they could fix the issue for a fee. Naturally, I didn’t give them any details. They supposedly have the ability to access your computer and empty your bank account!

I was browsing the HMRC website when my computer suddenly went haywire. Out of nowhere, I was met with a blue Microsoft screen displaying a cryptic number. Upon ringing the number, I was quoted a staggering £300 to resolve the issue. Strangely enough, that price quickly dropped to £100 during the conversation!

Looks like this could be one of those dodgy calls from India. I'd highly advise against picking it up; it’s definitely a scam without a doubt!
