10 monthsThis seemed a bit fishy to me. I tried buying something online and my credit card got rejected three times in a row. I assumed I was on the Costco website, but now I'm not so sure. After that, I got told my card was frozen and I needed to call a certain number. I didn’t call it straight away. Later, I got a voicemail asking me to ring back that same number, so I thought I’d better verify it. Turns out it didn’t match the fraud number my bank uses when I searched online. Be careful! Don’t share any details with them. Always double-check with your actual bank first.Costco3 yearsScam number bombarding me with persistent messages I never asked for.3 yearsOn Thursday, the 11th of May 2023, I got a rather peculiar call from 0800 015 3295, claiming that there had been a dodgy transaction involving my credit card (R. Then, on Friday, the 12th of May 2023, to my surprise, the same number buzzed me not once, but twice! I've since decided to block it on my mobile and have removed any trace of it. I decided to end the conversation when they requested my date of birth; it turned into a rather dodgy scenario, as they listed "press 1 for 1990, press 2 for 1991," and so on.
