Received a call purporting to be from Sky, claiming they needed to access my computer remotely to assist with virus removal and such. They insisted on payment via card, which set off all my alarm bells. It's a blatant scam!

I received a call claiming to be from Microsoft, insisting my laptop was jam-packed with hackers. They asserted they could not only clean it up completely but also safeguard it with their security features. According to them, my entire tech arsenal-like my iPad-was at risk of being locked out too. They then asked for my card details to facilitate this “cleaning.” I decided to hang up instead. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!

What a load of nonsense! This is nothing but a trick! It seems your computer has picked up some dodgy malware that's triggering a pop-up. This pop-up will claim to display your Internet Service Provider's name, urging you to call some so-called "toll-free" number to eliminate those pesky ads. Don't fall for it! Just ignore that number and give your computer a thorough scan and clean-up instead, as it's clearly been compromised!

Had a rather dodgy experience with some pesky malware recently. I keep getting these annoying pop-ups on my computer from cdncache-a.akamaihd.net and www.best-deals-products.com. Definitely feels like a scam!
