I got a phone call the other day and decided to pick it up. As soon as I did, I kept schtum since it seemed to be an automated system at first. After about a minute, a voice finally popped on the line, greeting me with a 'hello'. I replied politely, thanking them for the call, and asked them to hold on while I tried to figure out who they were. But before I knew it, they just cut the line on me! Quite peculiar, if you ask me.

Received a call earlier today, but it was drowned out by a cacophony of background chatter-definitely sounded like a call centre. Strangely enough, no one uttered a word when I picked up. I’m left puzzled about who it might have been, as I've come across numerous posts online suggesting it’s Natwest. Coincidentally, I do have an account with them.

Received a call earlier purporting to be from Natwest. When I inquired about the purpose of the call, they mentioned they needed me to verify some security questions pertaining to my credit card. Frankly, that raised a red flag for me-it felt exceedingly dodgy, so I decided to terminate the conversation. It certainly has all the hallmarks of a scam; I can't imagine any legitimate bank would request such sensitive information over the phone. Just be wary, folks!
