7 yearsSomeone pretending to be from Yahoo support called me, saying they could fix a hack on my email for a one-time fee of £299, promising lifetime security. I stupidly shared my card info with them, but thankfully I had second thoughts and contacted my bank to block the card straight away. This is definitely a scam originating from India.
