Absolutely appalling! My elderly disabled aunt has fallen victim to these vile scammers who will stoop to any low to snatch up bank information. It’s utterly disgraceful!

Got called by some debt collectors, was just annoying spam really.

Got a call telling me my fridge freezer insurance was running out and I needed to renew immediately to get some kind of special deal. Naively, I gave them my bank info. Then I found out I’d already got insurance for another 3 years with a different provider. I rang the number back to try and cancel, but not sure if it’ll actually work.

Just got a call from someone trying to sell insurance for a fridge freezer to my wife’s uncle, who’s quite elderly. Sounds like yet another dodgy call targeting older folks.

Got a call today from someone telling my elderly mum that her fridge freezer insurance had expired. They said all they needed was her bank sort code and account number to renew the policy. Absolutely no chance she gave them any info. This kind of scam is so awful.

My wife got a call from a woman claiming our freezer insurance needed renewing and asked for our bank details. Luckily, I handle the accounts so she didn’t share anything. We’re both well into our 80s and know better than to hand out bank info on the phone. Plus, we don’t even have separate insurance specifically for our fridge or freezer anyway.

Today my mum got a call from this number saying her fridge freezer warranty was about to run out. They told her if she gave them her bank account number and sort code, they’d sort out the renewal for her. Luckily, mum was wary and asked lots of questions before handing over any info. Then the bloke said he’d get his “floor manager” to speak to her. Next thing a woman comes on saying “Hello darling,” acting all friendly and claiming everything was legit. She even asked mum for all the numbers in her cheque book! Seriously? Mum still didn’t give anything, and they just hung up on her. This is definitely a scam, trying to trick older folks. Don’t trust these calls or share any details. I’m going to report this to the police straight away.

I reckon this number is just a scam. They’ve tried pulling the appliance insurance and council tax trick on my mum a couple of times. Dunno how they manage to get hold of elderly folks’ info, but they sure keep going after them.

Got a call today, 7th June 2017, from someone saying our fridge freezer was covered till 2018. They gave me a number to call if we needed urgent repairs. Then they suddenly asked for my bank details! I just ended the call straight away.

This number rang me the other day, and the man on the line sounded quite convincing at first. Still, I got a bit suspicious when he started getting pushy and then asked for my bank info. I'm around 82 and not easily fooled! Told him to jog on!

I received a rather dubious call from someone claiming they could provide insurance for my television in case it required any repairs. They mentioned they'd send over some documentation but then proceeded to request my bank information. Naturally, I informed them that I don’t share such details over the phone. It’s absolutely outrageous-these scammers are rampant and need to be put in their place. Seriously, something must be done about this!

It appears there's a rather dubious enterprise that targets elderly folks with unsolicited calls, attempting to peddle insurance for household gadgets. These sorts of entities seem to spring up just to vanish within a year, leaving a trail of bewilderment in their wake. Upon conducting a bit of sleuthing, I discovered that a chap named Oliver Little is at the helm of this operation. Interestingly, he's also affiliated with several other ventures operating from the same location. Quite the shady business, if you ask me!

These lot call up trying to push pointless appliance insurance schemes. My mate down the road got done over, gave them his bank details on a call but never got a single bit of paperwork through. They operate out of a serviced office, and the guy behind it used to run an estate agency which went bust last year. He also has a website where he charges folk to check if their council tax can be lowered. Seems like they hunt for elderly people who aren’t online much and snag their phone numbers somehow.
