I got in touch with Thames Water to let them know about a leak, and they rang me back from this number to go over the details and keep me in the loop about when they’d be popping round to sort it out.

Beware, this is a dodgy operation! They’ll call you about a supposed water leak that you’ve never even heard of. Next thing you know, they put you through to Thames Water, and before you realise it, you’re being billed an arm and a leg for every minute they keep you on the line, all for a non-existent issue! It’s best to block this number altogether, and don’t forget to scrutinise your phone bill - you might just be able to get your money back for those unnecessary charges.

I've received numerous messages confirming an appointment I never arranged. Following that, I got another one expressing gratitude for feedback I hadn't provided, especially since I haven’t even glanced at the texts! Supposedly from Thames Water, no less.
