Got a message supposedly from 'Barclays' telling me my card was linked to "Samuel's iPhone" for contactless pay and asking me to ring 0800 008 7047. Turns out it’s a scam - Barclays never sends texts like that. Although, I did get legit texts from Barclays when I switched my account, so be careful. They've also used a dodgy number before, 0333 200 1014, which has loads of comments warning about it. Worth having a look before you trust anything.

I got a message that looked like it was from Barclays, asking me to ring a certain number. I thought, why not, so I called. They then started saying someone was trying to mess with my debit card and wanted me to "approve some refunds" to recover the money. Felt dodgy straight away so I just ended the call.
