A really firm voice came through, insisting on speaking to either me or my partner - not sure how they even knew our names. I told them they’d got the wrong number and you could tell they were stunned. I just hung up straight away. The number they called from was 0800 0080 3241. Watch out for this annoying call, don’t share any info or even say who you are! When I asked who they were, all I got was a quick, mumbled “bank” response. This sort of thing could easily trick older people who might believe it’s genuine, even though most of us are onto these scams these days.

The caller asked for my son saying it was about his bank, but I ended up hanging up straight away.

Got a call asking me to do some survey, just a total hassle. Ended up dropping the call.

He said he was calling from TSB, but got really annoyed when I asked more questions. Eventually, my manager had a word with him and it turned out it was just some kind of survey, not anything to do with TSB at all.
