I got a call shortly after I made a payment online, where they wanted me to verify some personal information. To be honest, I wouldn't trust that as a genuine Anti-Fraud hotline, particularly as it’s not mentioned anywhere on the Standard Bank website. It all seems a bit dodgy to me.

I got a phone call on my mobile that was supposedly about some strange goings-on with my wife's Standard Bank card-strange, considering she doesn’t even bank with them! This was the third time they'd rung me up about it. I didn't bother pressing 1 for any further information. Just felt dodgy all around!

I’ve just got a rather dodgy voicemail that seems to be from Standard Bank, alleging some unusual transactions on my account. When I called the number back, it sounded like it was linked to them too. This number definitely needs to be shut down!
